Mother's day celebrations started with the annual mother daughter banquet at the church. Sammie participated in a performance put together by her Sunday school teacher. It was really cute and I loved how they had some of the older "kids" preform a poem as well.
We celebrated actual Mother's Day with a cookout at grandma's. George and Eddie cooked for us and the girls made and decorated a cake. They really did most of the work themselves and were so proud of their work. It was a beautiful cake!
