Greek Independence Day

The Greek school celebrated Greek Independence Day with their yearly program where the kids sing songs and recite poems in Greek. Sammie was the first to recite her poem and she did amazing. We're so proud of her! George started recording a little before she walked on stage. Sammie and her friend Brianna were getting in some last minute practice!

After the program, we worked outside. Sammie was excited to get her bike out and Erin just loves being outside. She just walked around looking at everything! We even got out Sammie's old trike for her to ride and she loved it!Erin made it through the night in her bed last night. When she woke up, she stayed on her bed and looked out the window. However, if she isn't quite ready to fall asleep (like nap time this afternoon), she gets up and plays. I asked Sammie how they get her to stay on her cot at daycare and she told me that they rock her to sleep and then lay her down! Cheaters! I can't remember the last time Erin let me rock her to sleep, and she was probably sick at the time!

St. Haralambos today, Broadway tomorrow! Sammie, you look very good up on stage. You should do some acting :)
