Trick and Treat

The girls were so excited about trick-or-treat! Sammie helped Erin practice saying trick-or-treat and they both loved getting dressed up. Poor George got stuck with carving pumpkins one hour before trick-or-treat began while I dressed the girls, but he did an amazing job!! As we were getting ready to leave our house, Erin did a face plant off of the deck and cut her right hand, a little. Since then, she has walked around with her hand in the air. She screams if you touch any part of her arm or hand or mention her boo-boo and has learned to eat with her left hand! Bath time was interesting tonight to say the least. Back to trick-or-treat! The girls got a ton of candy! We defiantly brought home more than we bought! I call it a candy profit! We have also developed a theory that the cuter the kid the more candy they are given. So many people told the girls they were so cute and to take another piece. Erin caught on very quickly and was loving it! She even said trick-or-treat to some people and said thank you to almost everyone! She held on to that candy bucket for dear life. She got very nervous when I dumped in the bigger bag so that it wouldn't be very heavy. She carried it with her left arm and sat it down to grab candy with her left hand and put it in her bucket. She refused to use her hurt right hand! The picture below shows the position her arm has been in pretty much nonstop. We have been able to distract her so she uses it, but then she usually bumps it or gets pinapple juice on it, putting us back where we started! Sammie looked so cute as a tiger! She loved her orange hair, and we decided to paint our hair orange when we go to the Browns game in a few weeks too!! In fact, is she had her way, she would have worn orange hair to school this morning. (Yes, she did ask/beg)
