We really enjoyed the balloon lift off this year. We ate dinner, watched several balloons fill up and take off despite the winds, watched the balloons come in and try to drop their bean bags on the target and watched the sky divers while waiting in line for the bathrooms. It was really interesting watching the balloons try to hit the target. Several balloons threw their bean bags while over our heads and two landed in the crowd (luckily, they didn't hit anyone)! Erin cheered every time a balloon took off and waved back at the pilots as they flew overhead. We love taking the girls to events like these. It helps us to remember that there are things in life that are truly magical, like a sky full of hot air balloons!
