We really enjoyed our stay at the campground! The camp store had everything we needed including hand scooped ice cream and little packets that you throw in your camp fire to make it change colors (which was very cool). The pool areas and playground were great for the girls. Erin even started swimming by herself without her life jacket in the family pool since it was so shallow! Our cabin was perfect for us with bunk beds, a full bed and air conditioning. We adjusted surprisingly well to camp cooking and using the shared bathrooms. The campers next to us had girls that Sammie and Erin became fast friends with and it turned out that they were from Canton as well! Small world! This was a great first step in camping for us and we're considering trying a weekend of tent camping down at Tappan before it gets too cold!
