We planned a surprise birthday for my mom, and actually kept it a surprise!! So many of her friends and family came to wish her a happy birthday. It was almost like a welcome home party as well since some people didn't know that she's back up here permanently. Everyone had a great time and except for the missing potatoes debacle, everything went perfectly. Thanks to all who came to celebrate!!This was also the first of 4 cakes I made in February. This one I decorated by candle light when our power went out. Luckily the power was back on in time for me to clean up!! lol!
