After spending Saturday morning on Ticketmaster purchasing tickets for Browns' games and the afternoon at the Hartville Flea Market (during a thunder storm), we headed to the Italian American festival at the fairgrounds (without the camera again. Thank goodness for camera phones!). The admission fee included a ride pass and parking. Erin rode the cars and helicopters while Sammie and George rode the swings. Then we all climbed on a teacup-like ride after which George and I were done with rides. Erin jumped in the bouncy thing and then pulled her own wagon over to see Sammie go through one of those climbing, obstacle, fun house things. The wagon took the place of the stroller for this trip. Erin had discovered the wagon Friday evening so we cleaned it up and went for a walk. I decided to take it to the festival on a trial run and it worked great! Erin loved it and now wants to ride in it everyday! We also ate dinner at the festival. Nestled among all of the yummy Italian was a Greek stand (see last picture). Don't know why, but it was funny! Sammie and Erin shared stuffed shells, penne, and meatballs. George and I shared a toasted garlic bread bowl that was filled with cavatelli pasta and meatballs. It was honestly one of the best pasta dishes we have ever had!! For desert, we tried gelato, which was creamy and fabulous and took home a quart of lemon Italian ice from Rita's.
