Chalk was the theme for July's First Friday. We ate at Arcadia Grill and then checked out the sidewalk chalk drawings which were spectacular! They even had a large area of road for the kids to color on. Sammie made an awesome Superman and Erin added splashes of color all over the place! The angel wing photo shot was super cute. We ran into Sammie's teacher from the past year, Mr. Smith. She was so excited to see him that see nearly hugged in half! It was super crowded with people everywhere, so we headed home. There was still trash and half drunken beers everywhere Saturday morning when we went to the farmer's market. First Friday's are nice but they are starting to become a less family friendly atmosphere despite all the kid friendly activities!
