Saturday morning I took the girls to the Timken Grand Parade. We parked in Ridgewood and walked up 22nd St. We left our house around 8:30 and got to the parade route right as the beginning of the parade did! We had an ok view of the parade and were at an intersection with stop lights so we got to see all of the balloons navigate under them. After the parade, we headed home and had fun with pineapple slices at lunch. LAter in the afternoon, we went to Joanne Fabric and Target for a little shopping. We decided not to go to the fireworks downtown due to the weather. Instead we ate dinner at home and had dessert at County Cones.
